Please join us for Editing Video in Adobe Premiere Rush: a Low Bridge to High Production Value with Todd Taylor. Adobe has just released a game-changing video editor called Premiere Rush that has most of the power of Premiere Pro with a much easier, more intuitive interface and workspace.  Premiere Rush works almost identically on Mac and PC as well as on mobile devices and tablets.  As such, it enables teachers, students, and researchers to spend more time on the intellectual content of their work and less time on the technical aspects of operating the software.  Since the entire suite of Adobe Creative Cloud applications is available at no additional cost to all UNC students, Premiere Rush offers a particularly scalable and sustainable solution for our campus.  This session will begin with a brief analysis and overview of the new directions in software user interface that we see particularly in Adobe Premiere Rush and Adobe XD, but most of the session will be hands-on with participants editing clips in Premiere Rush on their own devices.
