Live Podcasts for Research and Teaching

Podcasts are increasingly popular as assignments in a range of courses. Composing a stand-along podcast using audio editing software provides a range of opportunities for working with media and language. Less frequently assigned are live podcasts. Using a radio show format, participants can hold discussions and play media clips. At this workshop, Zachary Metzger and Hannah Skjellum of the SITES Lab will demonstrate equipment and methods and conduct a live podcast session.
