Join us for Digital Editions and Early Modern Manuscripts: XML, TEI P5, and Scholarly Communication with Hunter Corb & Margaret Maurer. In an introduction to digital editions, we will discuss the theoretical and practical questions that surround creating a digital edition of a manuscript. We will introduce XML and TEI before exploring the decisions that an editor has to make while designing an edition and marking up a text  – how do different choices an editor makes reflect an audience? What are the limitations of those choices?
