The Digital Innovation Lab and Carolina Digital Humanities invite the UNC community to join us for an open house on October 10, 2019 3:30-5:00. We will honor the newest recipients of our Digital Advancement Badges and Digital Humanities certificate. Refreshments will be served, and there will be an information session for those interested in pursuing a badge or certificate through our program.
Our Digital Advancement Badge micro-credentialing program recognizes graduate and undergraduate students for their digital expertise. We offer badges in digital pedagogy and project management at the graduate level and in humanities data literacy for undergraduates.
Our Digital Humanities certificate program offers a formal path for graduate students to pursue digital projects in conjunction with their intended courses of study.
We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our certificate and badge recipients and to open the door for others to benefit from these programs. If you are interested in learning more about humanities data studies or digital research and pedagogy, want to get formal credit for work you are already doing, or simply have a passion for free food, we look forward to seeing you at the open house!
